How blessed am I?? I am so very blessed to have the job title of “Mom!” I love my girls so much and thank the dear Lord each and everyday for his gifts. Wow, He’s amazing! And, He even gave me a great guy to be my partner in parenthood. “Thank you!”
If you have ever clicked on my sidebar “Praying for Kaleigh Anne” then you know that she went to be with the Lord Monday night. My heart aches for her family, I cannot even begin to imagine. I am thankful that they shared their story with everyone and I can thank them, and Kaleigh, because of their story I am a better mom. I hug my kiddos tighter, kiss them longer, and thank God for my blessings more. Their faith is beyond amazing in their time of loss.
This weekend we traveled to the Pineywoods to visit our families. Justin helped his mom clean up after the little tornado they had the Sunday before. We had a great dinner and on Sunday we headed to Boykin Springs to cool off and have a picnic. My daughters made me the cutest gifts. Which, by the way, I prefer over any store-bought item. I love keepsakes and homemade cards over the an actual card from the store. Call me crazy, but those things mean so much more to me. Here are a few photos from our fun, relaxing weekend.
