"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord..." Joshua 24:15
Emma Claire playing under the climbing rocks with her friends Sophia and Jake.
Here's our child of many faces! Where does this come from...idk.
Of course we have to show off how big we are and get up by ourself and sit at the picnic table.
BIG sister...Hannah being a monkey.
Just a swingin'.
Had to share this picture of Emma and Hadlee :) We are about to head to church this particular morning...and I couldn't tell you what they were looking at but they are the cutest sitting in the same position!
Emma and Justin swinging at Old Settler's Park.
This is the frog that Justin dug out of its hole to prove to me that it wasn't a snake. I could've swore it was when I saw its head in the hole. None of us were really sure that it wasn't BUT my brave husband had to find out.

Here are these pretty girls that had a great Spring Break week with their Granny Wandy! They made it home Friday night with their Granny Jenn. We were so excited and anxious to see them! We knew they were close so Justin, Emma and I were waiting on the front porch watching for them to turn onto our street. We missed them so much!
And here they are in their new dresses that Granny Jenn got them. Aren't they the cutest dresses!?!?! I love them and so do they. "Thank you, Granny Jenn" They wore them to church on Sunday and I think they are great colors to take actual pictures in.
So glad to have our girls back home and now we are back into the swing of things. Back to school and schedules.

I just LOVE this picture of Justin and Emma...it captures the cutest faces from them both and you can just see the love!
These are all of the park pictures that I promised. After we went on our adventure/hike on Sunday in Georgetown we grabbed a smoothie and continued over to Old Settlers Park to let the girls play on the park for a little while. Man, did they sleep like rocks that night! They were exhausted :)
I titled this post "Miss Independent" because I wanted everyone to see what it means when a toddler becomes independent overnight. Look at her knees! This is all from our day of hiking. We took the wagon so that she could enjoy the ride, but nope! She insisted she wanted "out" and "I do it" So we let her have fun and run and play and be independent. When she gets to running those little legs get to moving so fast that she just can't keep up and we trip and fall and get right back up and do it over again. She is very concerned about her "boo boos" and wants a bandaid for them and kisses of course always make them feel better :)
At the park she really enjoyed climbing up the steps and going through the tunnel and down the slide....all by herself! We were right there to catch her if need be, but SHE can do it!
By today her knees are all better :) I am sure it won't take long to add another before we can blink our eyes. So, being a little girl with such a BIG, independent personality gets you unwanted boo boos on your knees and unexplained bruises that just appear and make you wonder "where did that come from?"
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you from all of your girls!!
We love how you spend time with us and teach us new things. You are making memories that will last a lifetime. We are most definitely daddy girls!
We love going fishing with you and the many other adventures. You are such a hands on dad!
We love helping daddy do all his little projects and for him being so patient to let us help and for showing us how. Whether it be painting, building something new or cooking in the kitchen. You're the best!
Thank you for being the best father a girl could ask for...
Thank you for listening when we tell our stories, have questions, talk about our day at school or if we are having a bad day...
Mommy says thank you for being the best husband! She thanks her lucky stars each and everyday that God has blessed her with such an amazing man! How could she be so lucky?!?! Mommy can't wait to spend the next 50+ birthdays with you!
Thank you for loving us each so much and making each one of feel so special!
Thank you daddy for being so silly! When you make us laugh and sing your silly "made up" songs.
