So here is Hadlee and Emma Claire snuggling in mommy and daddy's bed. Yesterday Hadlee had to stay home because of her allergies/asthma that this change of weather caused. I can typically keep her breathing under control with breathing treatments and rest but yesterday was a BAD day for her and I knew that I couldn't do it this time and that she needed to go to the doctor and get a liquid steroid asap. Of course at the doctor they gave her another preventitive medicine, I believe this is the 3rd medicine to try now. He also gave her the liquid steroid, which I knew she needed, and 2 inhalers. We have to try the preventitive medicine for 1 month and then come back for a follow up to see if its working. My thoughts are that she needs to have her adnoids (sp) removed. I have heard that this almost always eliminates allergy problems. Dr. Gritska did say that she was a candidate for the surgery but it doesn't always work. I am thinking we are going have it done for sure, what would it hurt and hopefully it would work for her because I do not like all of these medicines. And this is her breathing here and well we all know that we have to breath! So it is just all too scary for me and I just wish I could take it all away for her. She is suppose to stay calm and relax and if you know Hadlee...that is next to impossible for her! So keep her in your prayers and I will update everyone as soon as we know anything.

On another note...her is Emma having fun on the slide at the park. Too cute! She climbs up the steps and goes down the slide just like a big girl. The weather is getting warmer and now we can enjoy playing outside more, which she just loves. Also, today Hannah is taking her first TAKS test of the year, the writing part. She seemed to be a little nervous this morning and couldn't really eat her big breakfast we cooked. We cooked pancakes and sausage and had orange juice. She did get to bed by 8 pm last night so she is fully rested for a long day of testing. Hopefully she will do a great job and take her time!
