Miss Independent!

I just LOVE this picture of Justin and Emma...it captures the cutest faces from them both and you can just see the love!
These are all of the park pictures that I promised. After we went on our adventure/hike on Sunday in Georgetown we grabbed a smoothie and continued over to Old Settlers Park to let the girls play on the park for a little while. Man, did they sleep like rocks that night! They were exhausted :)

I titled this post "Miss Independent" because I wanted everyone to see what it means when a toddler becomes independent overnight. Look at her knees! This is all from our day of hiking. We took the wagon so that she could enjoy the ride, but nope! She insisted she wanted "out" and "I do it" So we let her have fun and run and play and be independent. When she gets to running those little legs get to moving so fast that she just can't keep up and we trip and fall and get right back up and do it over again. She is very concerned about her "boo boos" and wants a bandaid for them and kisses of course always make them feel better :)

At the park she really enjoyed climbing up the steps and going through the tunnel and down the slide....all by herself! We were right there to catch her if need be, but SHE can do it!

By today her knees are all better :) I am sure it won't take long to add another before we can blink our eyes. So, being a little girl with such a BIG, independent personality gets you unwanted boo boos on your knees and unexplained bruises that just appear and make you wonder "where did that come from?"
On Friday I will have a post for Hannah and Hadlee. They are having their Hoe Down at school and we will lots of pictures from that. This will be Hannah's 4th Hoe Down and Hadlee's 1st. So check back to see all of the fun that they had.
