Sunday Adventure

WARNING!! There are tons of photos on this post! We started our Sunday off going to church and afterwards we decided that we wanted to have a fun day outdoors since it was such a beautiful day. So we went for a hike and fishing in Georgetown. We had such a great family day!

We were so excited about all of the fish that we caught! Hadlee and Justin did not want to leave!

Emma Claire has fallen in love with rocks! She wants to collect as many as her little hands can carry and now that she has discovered her pockets she fills them full of rocks! *note to self* Check pockets before washing!! Today there was an abundant amount of rocks, so she was a little overwhelmed.

Emma was definitely NOT interested in the fish...well she was and she would get excited and say "fish" but did not want to be anywhere near it! It was very funny and cute. She would watch closely as we put the fish back in the water and say "bye, bye fish" and then look at us and put her hands up and say "where'd he go?" So precious!

We finally talked her into touching the fish once. After seeing her BIG sisters do it she figured she'd better do it too :)

Hadlee was proud that she reeled this bass in all by herself! Can you believe this girl will actually give the fish a kiss before releasing it!?!?!

Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend and got to enjoy this beautiful day that we had today. Check back tomorrow because after we finished our little nature adventure we headed over to Old Settlers Park and had a blast watching Emma swing and go down the slides. She is becoming so independent these days. Last night after I gave her a bath and was getting her dressed....I attempted to comb her hair and she looked at me and said "no, I do it" took the comb from my hand and combed her hair!! Justin and I were shocked!
