Busy weeks to come...

Well, the last few weeks of January we will be busy traveling to Lufkin for a visit with the family. We miss everyone so much after spending a whole week there over Christmas and can't wait to see them all again soon! Also, Miss Hadlee Anne will be turning 6 on the 22nd...so we are having a little party here at the house. Nothing big, very simple...cake and ice cream and visiting with friends and family that may get to come in for it.

With this comes a "Hadlee" brag post. We are so proud of our little Hadlee that is growing up so fast right before our eyes! She started gymnastics last night...watch out Nastia and Shawn! Haha...she is our little go-getter (just like her daddy) and we do believe this is going to be her niche. So don't hesitate to donate to the Olympic fund that she may one day get to attend...just kidding. Hadlee is doing great in school and progressing just like we thought she would. If you truly know Justin, then you understand that Hadlee is just like him and pushes herself to do the best at whatever it is she is doing. Seriously, she has been in kinder for 4 months now and she is reading and writing stories and adding...and just doing great, we are so proud.

Just like her daddy she pushed and pushed herself to get to this point. It was and is still non-stop sounding out of every single letter and word imaginable. In the beginning when we would get in the car to go somewhere and even still...she sits in the back seat talking to whoever is listening, maybe her imaginary friend or just herself. It is the funniest thing to listen to...30 minutes pass by and she is still chattering up a storm..letter sounds, spelling, its like constant practicing. Maybe a little OCD about it. I can't help but laugh to myself in the front seat. But this is a gene that she got from her daddy for sure. Its cute to watch and to listen to.

She has such a huge heart and thinks of others so often. Such a caring little girl. Now, she is also a little toot too, but truly a sweet, good girl that listens very well and NEVER wants you to be disappointed in her what so ever. If she even thinks you are going to be the least bit disappointed she will burst into tears...even if you are not disappointed at all and she just thinks it (this is what we refer to as DRAMA QUEEN!) Maybe this is just girls in general though...everything is drama and over the top, ahhh! Love our girls though and wouldn't have it any other way.

Hadlee, mom and dad are so proud of you and the little girl you are growing up to be. Each day you amaze us with something new you have learned to do or say. We love you dearly! Slow down on this growing up too fast though, please :)
*I've attached some flashback pics of Hadlee and will have more on her actual special day when I do her birthday post. I love looking back at old pictures! If only they had digital cameras back when Hannah was born, guess I need to get a scanner now.
