So, I can’t help but chuckle about today's events. It started off okay, nothing special and no major events. I woke up, took my mother (who is visiting this week) to my Uncle’s house for the day and then went to Discount Tire to get my tires rotated & balanced. Such an exciting, adventurous life I lead…yes I know this :)
When leaving to head home I phoned Justin to see if he needed anything. Nope he said, but Emma has a bump/scratch on her forehead and a black eye(from running into a 2x4 on the table outside)*Justin was building shelves today in the storage building*…oh and Hadlee just broke out in a rash so I gave her Benedryl and am giving her a warm bath. My poor babies :(
While at Discount Tire I downed a bottle of water and needed to potty badddd! TMI probably and I am sorry ;) So…I run inside in a hurry after unloading the car and putting my keys halfway in my back pocket. Get to the restroom to see that someone (probably my 2 yr old) had gone before me and didn’t flush so I flushed for her….turned around quickly and KERPLUNK! My stinkin’ keys fell in the toilet as it was flushing and they are GONE! Who in the world does this happen to??? I have never in my life done such a thing! And yes, I had to share. We have laughed and laughed and I have been the brunt of all jokes this evening :(
Not to mention after dinner…Justin says “We forgot about Hadlee’s skills meet this morning!” What!?!?
I can gladly tell you that we never have days like this very often at all!!
Can we get a re-do for today please! Ha.
