Ok so Justin and I both grew up in the country, deep in the pineywoods. Our daughters on the other hand have not…they are little city girls for sure, ha! They have been dying to ride a horse for the longest time now so I planned it all out. After the football game Friday nite we traveled to my step-mom’s to spend the day on Saturday. They live in the country, horses, cows and all :) A little out of our element but hey, it didn’t take long to adjust…at least not for Justin and I. We spent Saturday morning riding a few of the many horses and the girls (as in Hannah and Hadlee) were on cloud nine! Emma was ok…but at one point said “me not like it!” Here are a few pics of them and I will post a video tomorrow maybe. Thank you Suzy for taking us in for the night and letting us invade your little farm for the day! We had such a GREAT time and can’t wait to come back…unfortunately now Miss Hannah would like a horse for Christmas :) *warning*there are LOTS of photos for this one!
This is ALL the horse miss Emma was going to ride :)

Fun, fun! My parents live in a small town where I grew up and they have horses. Morgan told my parents last year that for her birthday she wanted a pony. Guess what? That's what she got! They searched high and low and found her one! Crazy! And the other crazy thing is, the pony ended up being pregnant and no one knew until my Mom came home on her lunch break to find a baby colt.
Glad you're girls go to enjoy the country life! Even though I grew up around that, I'm still a city girl! My sisters on the other hand... they like horses, pigs... showing animals, etc. I'm just more into sports!
How fun is that?!! I would love to ride a horse, it has been years, but I want to ride one fast like you see in the movies! ha! So glad your girls had a great time and I think a pony for Christmas is a great idea!! :) Love the pics, so cute!
