Well on Friday we celebrated Hannah’s 11th birthday early with her friends. Her actual birthday is not until June 29th, but every single year her friends are mostly unable to attend due to summer vacations and plans. So we decided to try celebrating it a little early this year and it worked out great! She had a wonderful time with all of her friends. Thank you to everyone who came!

We now have a MIDDLE-SCHOOLER! Oh my!
Leaving for her LAST day of elementary school! Oh my!
See! I told you before I could blink my eyes Hannah would be graduating and walking across that stage to get HER diploma! Thankfully, its only her 5th grade graduation, whew! Still, we cannot believe Miss Priss is about to turn 11 AND now be a 6th grader! Wow.
Hannah Elizabeth,
You amaze us everyday with everything that you do! You were such a heaven sent baby 11 years ago! I remember the day that you were born like it was just yesterday and now you are growing into such a beautiful young lady. (I get all super emotional just writing this) My sweet baby girl has grown into such a beautiful, caring and intelligent little lady. Your daddy and I have high hopes and dreams for you that we know you will only surpass! I cannot wait, only I can, to watch you change and grow and become an even better person (if that's possible).
What will this new phase bring…? I have a feeling that the little notes that I write on your napkins everyday and place in your lunch box will have to stop. Or maybe I can still write them and place an extra (middle school approved) napkin in there so you won’t get embarrassed ;)
Okay…now this momma is bawling! Goodness gracious!
We have been so blessed by our FIRST and most precious gift that God chose to give us! He sent us such an unbelievable, delightful little girl. (now if He would only slow down this growing up to fast thing)
Mom and Dad want you to know that we are always here for you no matter what the circumstance. As long as you keep growing and becoming closer in your relationship with the Lord, you will do great great things because I know that He has only great things in store for! We want you to be proud of who you are and strive to do what's best. We are so very proud of you and love you so much!
Love,
Mom and Dad
“The Lord bless you….May He bless you with everything that is good and wonderful, with daily strength, and everlasting joys.
and keep you….May He keep you safe and protect you in your goings and coming, and may you be kept for every special thing He desires to bring into your life.
the Lord make His face shine upon you….May He always smile upon you, and may His presence be your daily reward.
and be gracious to you….May you be blessed with the beauty of His grace, and may His favor be over you and upon you.
the Lord turn His face toward you and you peace.” May His peace fill your life and guard your heart, and may His love keep you in all your ways.
Numbers 6:24-26
This morning Hannah went to her friend with about 10 other little girls for a donut breakfast and their last ride to school. They went in style in a limo! One of the dads owns a limo company so he drove them. How fun!

A new phase…
How time flies! I will try not to be all mushy and “deep” as Kyle(my brother) says I am over this! Ha. I can’t help it though. He is my “little” brother and it seems like just yesterday he was Emma’s age, sigh. Now he is an (gulp) adult! He graduates on Saturday, June 5th and I cannot believe it. What is also scary to me is before I can barely blink my eyes I know this will be Hannah soon walking across the stage to get HER diploma. Ahhh! I try not to think of that though and just soak up this time right now!
Justin and I were talking yesterday about how he agrees that it does seem like just yesterday that Kyle was 6 yrs old and they were all fishing on the lake together and now he is about to be 19 and how we are so proud of him! He is such a great guy with so much potential and the heart to be anything he desires! He also has such a great relationship with Christ and I hope that that only grows stronger! As it stands right now he will be coming here to go to college and then transferring to a university. He has a great plan in place and I can’t wait to watch his path that God has chosen for him unfold. I know He has some great things in store for him :) Here is a few flashback pictures of Kyle over the years before I finish my too long of a post!
You know we love you so much and we are so very proud of you! Can’t wait to see what these next few years will have in store for you, I know it will only be great things! And we are so blessed and thankful to be a part of that. Your nieces love you to pieces and think you have hung the moon already! They could not be any more excited about having you here ,seriously, its too cute!
Love you! Amber
Okay so in this transition we are getting ready and we re-did Emma and Hadlee’s room and its adorable!(that was too many and’s yes I see, oh well) So here are a few pics of that. They LOVE it!
Gymnastic Meet & Dance Performance
*UPDATED* Scroll down to bottom to watch Hannah dance!
This past weekend Hannah and Hadlee both had performances on Saturday. Hannah had her last dance performance and Hadlee had her last gym meet til the Fall. They both did great and we are so proud of their accomplishments! Hadlee advanced up and is now a “twister” after that is advanced twister, then we get into the teams! Yikes! I am totally fine with the teams because I really think this is Hadlee’s niche (sp) but I WILL NOT spend 5 days at the gym like some do! Anywho, here are a few ALOT of pics of our Saturday. I am downloading Hannah’s dance video so I will add it to the post when its finished. Enjoy!
Hadlee getting ready!Emma Claire wishing she was performing too!
Hannah in her dance attire.
Hadlee showing us her flexibility! Ouch!
Of course little sis has to show us too ;)
Hadlee doing her front walk over.
Emma Claire right behind her!
Getting ready to get on the bars.
These pics are slightly blurry bc I used the sport function which takes 25 pics in 2 seconds! Very neat bc you get to catch every single movement!
Slight mess up on the bars…she made the mistake of looking at her coach in the middle of her flip over :/. She was very disappointed in herself but after some encouraging words from mom and dad she gathered her emotions and did GREAT the rest of the meet!
Hannah being silly!

Not quite a wordless Wednesday :)
I have to say that I am so proud of this little munchkin! We traveled like crazy people this past weekend! Seriously. Her sisters were well taken care of on Friday by some dear friends. Thank you Rachelle and family, we love you guys!
Friday we woke up at 3 am (3 am people!) Mind you, I went to bed at 1 am because I was busy making sure things were organized and clothes were ironed. (I am not old, but I am TOO old for functioning on only 2 hrs of sleep) We had to be at ACU at 8:30 am to visit the college with my brother, Kyle, for football.
We visited ACU for 3 1/2 hours, met some amazzing people and coaches and just fell in love! It is an awesome college and we would be so happy for Mr Kyle to become a Wildcat! I will mention that I also got to meet a sweet blog friend, Whitney. It was a quick “hello” but we are both praying that we will be in the stands at football games cheering together soon!
So, while visiting, Miss Emma was a perfect angel! Not sure where she stuck the Emma we know but we thank her ;) She did great!
While Kyle and Justin visited one more college, Hardin Simmons, Emma and I grabbed a bite to eat. I figured taking her for another 3 1/2 tour would be pushing my luck. Ha! We also found the mall and killed some time shopping, finding some great sales.
On Saturday around noon we got a wild hair and decided to drive to East Texas and surprise my MIL for Mother’s Day. She was very surprised and we had a great visit! I received my Mother’s Day gift a little early due to a slight hair dye mis-hap. I will say that I LOVE my hair now! Pictures later about that. I am so blessed to be the mother of these 3 girls! I love them so much…never knew in my wildest dreams that your heart could have that much love! They are so wonderful and I thank God for choosing them to my gifts! (and of course Justin’s too) We are both blessed beyond belief. Our cup runneth over!
All in all we traveled 1000 miles this weekend! Wow. It was well worth it and we definitely enjoyed it but man are we exhausted! Whew!
