Well, Hadlee was the only one who would sit on Santa’s lap this year :( Hannah is “too big” and Emma Claire is still scared, well not scared of Santa but scared of sitting on his lap still. Maybe she will do it next year. She does want to look at this picture all the time though, so I am thinking we may try one last time this weekend at the mall.
While we are all excited about Christmas and the fun it brings we do still remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas! The girls made Advent Calendars at church and each day we pull out a slip of paper to reveal one of the many names of Jesus…Mighty God, Redeemer, Savior, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor…are just a few.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
