Growing up!

Yesterday evening we went to the neighborhood park and took Emma in her new car that she LOVES! We let her out to walk around and she decided that she was big enough to climb up the stairs and proceed down the slide. Of course we were there to guide her and catch her at the bottom. She thought that was very neat and I think she felt bigger. When she got up there she was sooo excited, she danced around before going down the slide. Then she watches her big sister Hadlee go all the way to the top of the playscape to the much bigger slides...mom and dad had to follow close behind her on this new discovery. We could not let her go down these slides alone because I said, "I think she will fly across the whole subdivision"...they are faster, taller slides. So, Justin and I took turns go up and down the stairs then taking her down the slide in our laps. She just laughed and really enjoyed herself. We were absolutely amazed that our 1 year old was doing this big girl stuff! You can bet when it was time to go, she was very unhappy with us. We plan on going back this afternoon with the camera so check back for pictures.
