First Day of School

So we will start with the first day of school for Hannah and Hadlee. First, let me say that I had a hard time this year with both; Hadlee started kindergarten and I don't think you have ever seen a child more excited about starting school than her and Miss Hannah is now a 4th grader, I know I am not old by any means but this kind of makes me realize that I am getting older...I just can't believe I have a 4th grader! She has grown up and matured so much over the summer, its crazy. Time flies way too fast me let me tell ya. We had been practicing this whole going to bed earlier and waking up early 2 weeks prior to the first day of school and I think it helped. I was afraid that the night before the first day they would have difficulty going to sleep but they did not, thankfully. I woke them up and fixed them their breakfast and got all ready for the first day of school! We arrived early to get a parking space and of course I had my camera in tow. There are more pics of Hadlee then Hannah because "come on, mom" we are a 4th grader now and we just don't do those things...I was lucky enough that she let us walk her to class this year but I was not getting pictures of her in her classroom or sitting at her desk!

So of course the rest of my day I watched the clock and anxiously waited for them to get out of school and the time could not have passed any slower. They had a great day needless to say and lets just pray that the rest of this year goes as smoothly as this morning did...I am betting not
